Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Lead Finance Manager for a highly successful and instantly recognisable retail business based in Manchester City Centre. The business has been consistently growing over the past few years and they are now looking to continue to outperform their competitors by driving their strategic plans further.
In this role you will focus on the pricing and promotions available within the retailer, to aid the business to both understand and improve the strategies in place. Bringing meaningful financial insight into key operational meetings, you will aid the business with its development ensuring they continue to outperform close competitors. Working collaboratively with colleagues and leaders you will drive key pricing and promotional decisions and make a real impact.
- Preforming complex analysis utilising excel to show the impact of each pricing and promotion decision against sales performance and ultimately profitability
- Utilise and produce financial business cases around investment choices
- Influence and challenge a range of senior stakeholders to ensure the best commercial decisions are made
- Producing and using competitor analysis evidence for each decision made
- Look at decisions on a variety of time scales from weekly to seasonally and track the impact of these
The successful applicant will be a proactive, fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ICAS/ACCA/CIMA) with extensive experience within a commercial financial environment. Ideally you will come from a pricing background however, other commercial finance roles will be considered. It would be advantageous if you have experience within FMCG.
You will enjoy building relationships and working with senior stakeholders whilst developing your own small team.
