Ledger Assistant

Role: Ledger Assistant

Location: Stafford - Hybrid working

Type: Permanent - Full Time

Salary: £22,500

Our client are looking for a self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Ledger Assistant to join our Finance Team. You will need to have strong numerical skills with precise attention to detail and accuracy. Previous experience using Microsoft Office packages, specifically excel, is essential for this role.

Key responsibilities for the Ledger Assistant:

  • Ensure that all invoice/credit notes are registered promptly and accurately
  • Responsible for checking invoices
  • Dealing with any discrepancies
  • Reviewing statements received from suppliers
  • Prepare and produce payment runs
  • Maintain effective working relationships
  • General administration duties

Person Specification for the Ledger Assistant:

  • Previous ledger experience
  • Experience working on multiple ledgers would be an advantage
  • Strong numerical skills with precise attention to detail
