Commercial Lawyer/ Legal Advisor
Full-time - 6 months Fixed Term Contract
£52k - £54k per year + Exceptional pension package
Commercial Lawyer/ Legal Advisor required to join a prestigious Charitable Trust for a minimum of 6 months. The client is looking for a Solicitor or Barrister with experience in Commercial law including Commercial agreements and Intellectual property. Commercial experience gained within the charity sector would be useful and the ideal Lawyer will be able to work independently with minimal supervision on exceptionally interesting subject matters. The candidate will also have a proven track record of quickly building and maintaining professional relationships with clients of different professional levels.
Key Responsibilities and required skills of a Commercial Lawyer/ Legal Advisor
- Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements including collaboration agreements
- Experience of dealing with complex intellectual property mattes including copyright law, trade mark infringement and trade mark registration
- Advising clients and professionals
- Experience managing a large and varied caseload
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at different levels
- Strong IT skills
