My client is an NHS body which is in need of a Locum Legal and Information Governance Officer to join their small in house team on an initial 3 month contract.

This role is ideal for candidates who have healthcare or litigation legal experience. This may have been gained through working as a litigation legal assistant, or a similar role within an NHS organisation. Any experience of GCPR and information governance related tasks would also be advantageous.

The role will involve working in a small team of 4 individuals who deal with legal and governance matters. The successful candidate will be tasked with assisting the team Solicitor with documents and basic legal drafting.

Cases typically include disputes between organisations over funding and any knowledge of the legalities of healthcare would be welcomed. This role requires someone highly focused on solving legal problems and providing practical solutions. You will also be closely involved in FOI and DP matters, working closely with the Freedom of Information Officer.

You must be available for a start as soon as possible and display a can do attitude. For an informal discussion or to discuss the job description in more detail, please contact me today on 01618341642 or at kate.jasper@sellickpartnership.co.uk
