We have an exciting opportunity for a locum Legal Assistant to join our highly-reputable London Borough Council client.
The successful candidate must be able to commute to South East London 4 days per week and would preferably have had some exposure to Employment Law in their previous roles.
This role will involve working in the office for 4 days and the successful candidate can work 1 day remotely. The role is paying a competitive £15 - £20 per hour. The assignment will be an initial 3 month contract, with the view to extend on a rolling basis.
Our client is looking for a locum Legal Assistant to join their brilliant Litigation team who deal with Planning, Employment, Civil Litigation and Criminal Litigation matters. This role is perfect for a Legal Assistant looking to gain experience within these areas of law.
The duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing a range of documents for Court
- Drafting letters and documents
- Scanning and categorising documents
- Preparing bundles for Court and Tribunals
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties
