An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Officer to join a Central Government organisation, to be based in either Sheffield or Darlington.

Our client is seeking a locum Legal Officer to join their team for an anticipated period of 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a busy and varied caseload, which may include;

  • Drafting advice and submissions on land disposals, acquisitions and change of use applications
  • Working with colleagues to ensure land disposals, acquisitions and change of use applications are appropriately scrutinised
  • Assisting with Freedom of Information requests as required

The ideal candidate will have previous relevant experience and an understanding in property / land law, ideally gained within the public sector.

This position is to start immediately and the successful candidate will need to be able to work full-time hours.
