An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Legal Officer to join a Local Authority in the East Midlands on a remote basis.

The successful Legal Officer will take on a mixed workload, including, but not limited to:

  • Care supervision orders
  • Co-working matters with solicitors
  • Corresponding with clients and social workers
  • Preparing court bundles and witness statements
  • Gathering evidence
  • Section 7 and 37 reports

The successful candidate will join a sizable and friendly legal team for an initial period of 3 months, but with the possibility of extension.

Previous experience within childcare law is required for this position.
