An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Licensing Manager to join a Local Authority in East Anglia on a full time Permanent basis. The council are offering great flexibility with 2 days working from home within the week which could lead to 3 days working from home.
The Licensing Manager will be managing the day to day statutory function of the licensing team, including overseeing the processing of grants and renewals of various licences and permits relevant under the Licensing Act 2003 and other associated legislation.
The successful Licensing Manager will be required to act with professionalism, integrity and honesty at all times and will communicate with customers, other services, Members, outside organisations and statutory bodies such as the Police.
Preferably the post holder will hold a BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Licensing Practitioners, have comprehensive knowledge of PACE, RIPA and Court procedures. The post holder will also have experience of working with an IT Licensing Management System, but applications with transferable skills are most welcome.
