Litigation Lawyer

£28, 000 - £38, 890 1 Year FTC

A well-established Local Authority in the South East area are looking for an enthusiastic litigation lawyer to join their friendly team on a 1 year fixed term contract on a full time basis.

Sellick Partnership are seeking an experienced litigation solicitor who will be proactive in giving legal advice, assistance and support to clients whilst managing their own varying complexity caseload. Although there is no direct management responsibility, candidates looking for a step into management will gain excellent management experience as they will be expected to support the senior litigation and governance solicitor on the day to day supervision of trainee legal executives.

You will be expected to advise upon all aspects of litigation to officers and councillors and act on complex matters including corporately contentious matters.

The ideal candidate will be expected to represent or assist counsel before tribunals or court appearance including employment tribunals and attendance at the higher courts.
