Sellick Partnership are happy to be working with a highly regarded local authority in Sussex to find a new locum housing lawyer to join their team.

If successful in applying for this new housing lawyer role, you will be working remotely from home, but must be able to attend court once a week. The role will pay £40-45 per hour and the contract will be for an initial 3 months with the possibility of being extended further.

The successful Housing Lawyer will ideally have public sector housing experience which will be beneficial in their role but the client is also happy to consider private practice candidates with significant housing experience. You must be a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive.

As a Housing Litigation Lawyer your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Housing disrepair claims
  • Possession proceedings
  • Advice related work
  • Rent arrears
  • Anti-social behaviour
