Liitigation Lawyer required to join a large, dynamic Local Authoity within East Anglia.
The successful candidate will be based in the prosecution and enforcement part of the Dispute Resolution and Employment Law Team.
The Litigation Lawyer will be required to undertake a mixed caseload of all areas of Litigation, including:
- Criminal (including Trading Standards & Highways)
This role would suit an experienced Litigation Lawyer, who has experience working across all areas of Litigation; however I would advise someone who has experience within any area of Litigation to apply.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of legal advice within the team, along with managing full caseload and attending advocacy at court.
With significant commercial awareness to contribute to the development of new external streams of business and the ability to build excellent working relationships.
The council is based with good transport links and flexible working hours are available.
This position will begin on an initial 3 month basis, with the strong possibility of the contract being extended beyond that.
