Sellick Partnership are currently seeking a Part Time Litigation Officer to join a local authority on a locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal who is looking to develop their skills in a small and supportive team. The role is a mixture of litigation, focusing on debt recovery, therefore the ideal candidate would have experience within this area.
The role will also involve:
- Dealing with the processing of debt recovery, possession proceedings routine prosecutions and general litigation cases
- Drafting County Court claims and having conduct of the case through to judgment Dealing with any matters concerning the enforcement of judgments
- Clarifying with client officers any difficult areas and dealing with and responding to any defences and/or counterclaims
- Providing litigation support to the solicitors in the Litigation Team
This would be ideal for an individual to gain confidence and further their knowledge within this particular area of law.
