My client is an award winning and unique legal practice boasting a balanced blend of traditional high street work and a solid, commercial, client base. They also represent a number of mortgage and other specialist finance lenders; providing legal support to both residential, commercial and unsecured regulated and unregulated lenders.

They are now looking to recruit an experienced Litigation Solicitor. You will have a minimum of 3 years' PQE experience in dealing with a range of commercial litigation matters; ideally with experience in banking and finance litigation but this is not essential.

You will be keen to be part of our thriving and growing Practice, becoming a key member of the department. You will be an approachable and friendly team player with a good work ethic.

You can expect a competitive salary which will be based on experience along with things such as 25 days holiday, pension, amongst other things. The management of the firm arrange various social events throughout the year and offer various opportunities to get involved in volunteer work for charities the firm has close links with if this is something of interest.

The range of work you will undertake will likely encompass the following:

  • Civil fraud and asset recovery
  • Professional negligence
  • Possession claims
  • Appointments of Receivers
  • Advising Lenders and Receivers on strategy and disposal of both residential and commercial property
  • Disputes involving financial services regulation, the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the Consumer Credit Act 1974
  • Personal and Corporate Insolvency

In addition to the above, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • A high level of technical ability
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Good academics with training in a reputable practice
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Keenness to be involved in the networking and marketing activities of the team
