Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Childcare Paralegal to join a London Borough Council on a 3-month locum basis. The contract is expected to extend beyond this initial period.
This is a great opportunity for a Childcare Paralegal who has local government experience.
The Childcare Paralegal will be taking on a range of duties such as supporting the wider childcare team in their caseloads, dealing with matters such as care orders, non-molestation orders, care cases and pre-proceedings. Further duties will include the Childcare Paralegal handling their own caseload of Section 7s and Section 37s.
In terms of experience, our client requires that the Childcare Paralegal should have experience of public childcare law, in particular Section 7s and 37s, as they will be holding their own caseload of these matters. Prior experience of working in a local authority is highly desirable for this position.
Due to the current pandemic the role will be working from home until further notice. The team is friendly and supportive, and this is an excellent opportunity for a childcare paralegal who wants to expand on their expertise.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
