A leading Local Government organisation in the North West is looking to appoint a Project Accountant on an interim basis for 6 to 9 months. This role will be based remotely.

As Project Accountant you will assist the Head of Finance Business Partnering and be responsible for:

  • Assisting with budget setting
  • Liaising with budget holders
  • Taking ownership for a set expenditure amount
  • Creating business cases on behalf of budget holders

As Project Accountant you will need the following skill set:

  • Recent Local Government experience
  • Strong budget setting experience
  • Ideally ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
