A leading Local Government organisation in the North West is looking to appoint a Project Accountant on an interim basis for 6 to 9 months. This role will be based remotely.
As Project Accountant you will assist the Head of Finance Business Partnering and be responsible for:
- Assisting with budget setting
- Liaising with budget holders
- Taking ownership for a set expenditure amount
- Creating business cases on behalf of budget holders
As Project Accountant you will need the following skill set:
- Recent Local Government experience
- Strong budget setting experience
- Ideally ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
