We are looking for an Adult Social Care lawyer to join a well regarded London Local Authority.
As an Adult Social Care lawyer you will be responsible for managing a busy caseload where the vast majority of work is court of protection work. You will also have the opportunity to work on other adults matters including deprivation of liberty, judicial review and non-recourse to public funds.
Our client is open minded and will consider applications from junior lawyers and candidates from private practice as long as you have the aptitude and energy to develop your skills and experience. Similarly, the client is also happy to consider applicants at the more senior end of the spectrum who have existing local government experience. Therefore the rate of pay is variable depending on experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a local authority that is close to the business district and shops. The office is close to public transport links and has an onsite canteen. There may be the opportunity for 1 day working from home following a settling in period.
The contract is for an initial period of 3 months, however it is likely that this will be extended into a rolling contract.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
