Locum Childcare Lawyer is required to join a local authorrity based in the Home Counties to cover a period of maternity leave which will last between 9-12 months.

The role will be undertaken completely remotely and the client anticipates that they will not be back in the office until the new year in which you will only be required to attend the office on the odd occassion. This position is to work in a highly sought after local authority which prides itself on a great reputation and a great working enivorment.

The successful candidate will be undertaking a caseload of around 8-10 care proceeding matters with 2-3 PLO matters included. Advocacy expected will be dependant on experience of the candidate but also on what you are comfortable with. Advocacy on cases is currently done virtually and is usually around once every few weeks on your own cases.

This client is happy to consider candidates who are looking to work 4 or 5 days per week and can be flexible about working hours. The role is to start arounnd August / September time with the view to run until mid next year.
