Urgent requirement for a Childcare Lawyer to join a local authority based to the South of London on a locum basis for 3 months with the possibility for extension thereafter.

Due to recent events surrounding coronavirus, our client is experiencing an increase in their caseloads and as such are urgently requiring a Childcare Lawyer to assist with new cases being brought to the team.

This role will be based remotely and you will be required to handle your own caseload of public law care proceedings along with pre proceeding matters. Candidates must be experienced within public childcare law and ideally local authority experience as there will be minimal supervision. You will be expected where necessary to undertake the more routine case management and first hearings by telephone or skype as required by the Courts.
