Sellick Partnership are currently working with a popular South London Council to recruit a locum Childcare Lawyer to join their social care team.
The assignment will begin on an initial 3 month contract but is likely to be extended. The successful Childcare Lawyer will be working remotely from home for the foreseeable future.
Our client is seeking an experienced Childcare Lawyer who can hit the ground running and come on board as soon as possible to assist with an increased workload. Advocacy experience is desirable but not essential if the successful candidate would rather focus on casework.
Your duties and responsibilities as a childcare lawyer will include carrying care cases as well as pre-proceedings files, dealing with cases involving: Emergency protection orders, Exclusion orders, Non-accidental injury, etc.
Our client is open to considering applications from candidates from both public and private sector backgrounds as long as there is relevant public childcare experience demonstrated. Our client is also open to considering newly qualified lawyers who have public child care experience.
