Part time Childcare Lawyer is required to join a local authority based in the Home Counties for a period of 6 months initially and the view to extend thereafter to cover a period of maternity leave from April.
Our client is happy to consider candidates who are looking to work a reduced working week of either 3 or 4 days per week ideally but is happy to consider candidates requirements should they need to work around childcare arrangements or other responsibilities.
The successful candidate will job share with one other lawyer on the team. You will be responsible for handling your matters in relation to proceedings and pre proceeding matters. Depending on how many days per week you will be working, there is scope for you to conduct advocacy at non contensted hearings should you wish to.
Our client is currently working remotely but they are keen to have some office presence once the lockdown starts to ease as the team work really well together. Our client is open to considering candidates at all levels from Newly qualified through to the more experienced candidates.
