Sellick Partnership are currently seeking a Childcare Paralegal to join a well-respected Local Authority based in the East Midlands for a Locum assignment.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive Childcare team and take on a variety of work including:

  • Assisting solicitors and creating and updating bundles for court
  • Chasing evidence and other court documents
  • Drafting care and supervision orders
  • Liaising with third parties and witnesses
  • Attending PLO meetings

Experience/knowledge of Childcare law is essential, but candidates with either public or private sector experience will be considered.

This position is initially for 3 months but will be reviewed and potentially extended nearer the time. They are ideally looking for full time, but part time may be considered. The role will be working remotely for the foreseeable but there may be an expectation for an office presence in the future.
