Senior Commercial Contracts Lawyer required to join a large local authority based in the East Anglia area on a locum basis for 6 months initially with the view of extension thereafter.
The client is ideally seeking someone with previous local government experience due to the workload involved. This local authority undertakes work for a number of different clients as they receive instructions as part of a wider shared arrangement with other councils which gives a real range in the work on offer.
The role will cover a range of contracts which will include the following but not limited to;
- Contracts in relation to academies and academy conversions
- Service, works and constructions contracts in relation to housing regeneration projects
- Development and project matters including advice
- Providing contract and procurement advice across the service including County, City, District and Borough councils
This client is happy to consider candidates on either a part time, ideally 4 days or full time basis. They also offer flexible working arrangements for the right candidate so please do get in touch if you are interested.
