Contract Lawyer is required to join a local authority based in Surrey for a period of 3 months initially and the view for extension thereafter. The post has arisen due to a promotion within the team and thus a need for someone to pick up a caseload.

Our client is a small authority but is keeping the majority of their major projects and procurement matters inhouse so you would be able to assist with the more routine matters but be able to work alongside the senior lawyers with some of the project work.

Due to the need for someone to pick up an exisiting caseload, our client ideally needs someone from a public sector background however those who have handled public sector clients previously are also encouraged to apply. Our client is happy to consider candidates at all levels, especially those on short notice periods.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively, should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying, please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
