Locum Contract Lawyer is required to join a University based in the South East for a period of 3 months with the view to move on to a permanent contract thereafter.
Sellick Partnership is currently assisitng a University exclusively with the recruitment of the Locum Contract Lawyer and is keen for the candidate to then move onto a permanent contract thereafter as part of the new and approved structure of their legal department. Our client is ideally looking for someone with previous University experience and someone has exposure to handling their own caseload of contract matters.
They are happy to consider those who are not qualified such as Contract Managers and Contract Officers that have experience of working for a University already. You will be undertaking a caseload of your own matters which will include contracts such as funding agreements, property agreements, grant agreements and collaboration agreements. Candidates that have exerience within data protection and regulatory matters as well would be a real bonus.

The role will be predominantely remote in the first instance during COVID but post COVID, they will be looking for some office presence.
