Commercial Contracts Lawyer is required to join a small borough council in the South East of England to undertake a short term cover for a period of illness within the team. You will be required to pick up an existing caseload and oversee matters for a period of 4-8 weeks.

As a Contracts Lawyer, the work will be varying in nature with a specific focus on JCT and construction contracts. You will be the only contracts lawyer within the council so you must have experience of working within a local authority due to the short term nature of the role. The client is ideally seeking someone who is available on short notice and can start as soon as possible.

This role would be well suited to someone who is looking to secure a short term role over the summer months. The client is happy to consider both part time and full time options.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
