Contract Lawyer is required ro join a public sector organisation for a period of 3 months initially starting in March to assist with a backlog of work in the team due to a secondment.

Our client is a lovely local authority which is easily accessible by train or car however the role would be remote working in the first instance. You will be joining a small contracts team and the work will mainly be dealing with JCT contracts.

Due to this role requiring minimal supervision, our client is looking for candidates with previous experience of drafting and undertaking a caseload of JCT matters previously. You will be confident in providing advice to clients on these matters as well. Our client is keen to hear from those who have an understanding of public sector contracts and would ideally be suited to a newly qualified lawyer or someone with a few years experience however we are keen to hear from candidates at all level.

This post will give you the chance to work autonomously within a fantastic legal environment and an excellent manager.
