Governance and Democratic Services Manager is required to join a local authority on an interim basis for a period of 3 months initially and the view to extend thereafter.

  • This role is a newly created role within the local authority and you will be delivering a change and transformation programme within the council service.
  • You will be streamlining and embedding new processes and procedures across the board.
  • You will be managing a team of democratic services officers.
  • Our client is looking for you to build rapport and engage members both internally and externally to ensure relationships are formed and communication is paramount.

The post is a remote working role however there may be a requirement on the odd occassion to attend the office for particular meetings but this will be minimal. This is an exciting opportunity to be able to make an impact in this position with delivering change and transformation.
