Housing and Prosecutions Lawyer is required for a local authority based in Hertfordshire on an interim basis for a period of 3 months initially with the view to extend depending on permanent recruitment.
Our client is looking for a Solicitor or Barrister that has a strong interest in doing both housing and prosecutions case work along with completing their own advocacy including trials of 1 day. The client is keen for the advocacy to remain inhouse hence the need for someone to be able to cover trials also.
Your caseload will include the following but not limited to;
- Benefit fraud
- Enforcement notices
Local authority experience is highly desirable for the role however those that conduct similar work in private practice is strongly encourage to apply. This local authority offers condensed and flexible working hours including home working for the right candidate. There is scope for permanent opportunities also.
