£35-40 per hour
Sellick Partnership are happy to be working with a NHS Organisation in the Home Counties to find locum Head of Legal Services to join and manage their team, working full time, on a 3 month basis with the view this could be extended. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience of working within the NHS or working on behalf of NHS organisations.
The NHS Organisation is ideally looking for a solicitor, barrister or legal executive but will also consider non-qualified candidates. The successful candidate will be managing a small caseload of their own matters and must have previous management experience.
The successful Head of Legal Services will work across two sites and be supported by a Deputy Head of Legal Services, they will also be able to work remotely from home, however ideally the NHS Organisation wants someone to go into the office 2 days a week.
As the Head of Legal Services, your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Managing a team which covers litigation based work, such as: inquests, clinical negligence and claims work
- Supporting the team in relation to delegation
- Building relationships internally and externally and assist with training requirements
