Litigation Lawyer required to join a local authority based in Hertfordshire for an initial 3 month period but there is certainly view for extension.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small local authority which has a really nice variety of matters. The successful Litigation Lawyer will carry a busy caseload of varied litigation matters, with a focus on general civil litigation, housing, taxi licensing, and enforcement. Should the Litigation lawyer only have experience in one area of litigation, the client is still interested in hearing from you as they can spread the work around the team to suit the candidate.
This council offers flexible working arrangements and can offer the role on either a part time or full time basis to suit the candidates needs and has done this for the current locums.
Due to the work involved, our client is keen to hear from people with previous local government experience as this type of background would lend itself nicely due to the range of litigation work involved. The client would also consider candidates that have undertaken local government work with private practice. The council are really looking for a good all-rounder to join them.
It is centrally located, within walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants, as well as a train station which has frequent links to London.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
