The successful postholder will be required to undertake a range of litigation matters suited of a district council nature but expected to take on overflow work from other local authorities in the area due to a shared service arrangement taking place. The work will consist of both civil and criminal matters including judicial reviews. There may also be governance related work involved in this also. The work is evenly split between the team and you will be expected to pick up matters across housing, prosecutions, planning enforcement and governance.

Our client is happy to provide you with a laptop and inductions via video or telephone conferencing. It would be most preferable for someone who has previous local government experience who is able to pick up existing matters.
