Locum Monitoring Officer

Home Counties

£700-850 per day

Locum Monitoring Officer is required to join a public sector organisation for a period of 6 months initially and the view to extend further.

Our client is unique in that it delivers large scale projects across two counties both within commercial and residential regeneration.

Our client is looking for someone to assist with a period of change which the organisation is going through. This is a challenging role but will be an excellent career highlight which will assist you in building your career as a strong Monitoring Officer.

You will be dynamic and robust with the delivery of a new governance structure and assist with building relationships between the Mayor, Directors and Officers.

You will be required to undertake governance related matters which will include member conduct, member complaints, whistle blowing, and implementing a new corporate structure. You will be required to assist in building relationships across the service to assist with moving forward with a successful governance structure.

The post will be a standalone role which will have general support from the Director of Legal Services. The post will be based mainly remotely but attendance at meetings is required in person therefore candidates must have a willingness to travel. The role is easily accessible via good transport links.
