Part time Planning Lawyer is required to join a local authority based to the South of London on a locum basis for an initial 3 to 6 months but the view to extend thereafter.
The successful candidate will be undertaking planning matters on behalf of the local authority on a remote basis for ideally 2 days per week. You will be undertaking matters such as S106 agreements at varying levels of complexity and attending virtual planning committees on behalf of the local authority. You will be on hand to support a junior member of the team on the days you are working should they need any assistance with their matters.
Our client is happy for the role to be completely remotely however post lockdown, our client will require you to attend planning committtees once they resume back to normal.
This role would be ideally suited to someone who is looking to work on a part time basis or someone who is looking to work this alongside another part time position.
You will be joining a highly sought after local authority that holds an excellent reputation in the market. Candidates will be from either a public or private practice background and will be able to start within a few weeks ideally.
