Locum Planning lawyer is required to join a local authority based to the East of London for an initial 3 -6 months to start from mid July time.

The successful planning lawyer will be required to undertake a range of planning work on behalf of a local authority which will predominanetely consist of S106 agreements at varying levels of complexity in relation to education and highways. Candidates must be confident in undertaking their own drafting and be able to utilise a case management system.

The role will be initially start remotely with the view for discussion around flexible working and office working once the lockdown has eased. Candidates will be considered from both the public sector and private practice as long as they can demonstrate a clear ability to draft and handle S106 agreements.

The candidate must be able to accomodate a 4 or 5 day week basis due to the volume on work.
