A friendly London Council is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their small, close-nit team on a locum basis for a minimum of 3-6 months to assist with an increase in workloads. This is a remote working role.
The team requires a Planning Lawyer to focus on complex Section 106 agreements. Therefore, you must have recent and substantial experience of handling Section 106 to be able to hit the ground running in this role.
There may be some other Planning matters that you are required to assist with but the Section 106 work is the focus of this position. If you desire a more varied caseload, this can also be accommodated.
While public sector experience is preferable, my client is also happy to consider applicants from private practice. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable and have excellent interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues.
This is a fantastic opportunity to handle interesting work within a reputable and friendly team.
On offer is a competitive hourly rate and flexible working patterns. You may work part-time, such as 4 days per week, if this suits your lifestyle.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chloë Cameron in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
