Principal Planning Lawyer is required to join a local authority based in East Anglia to cover a period of maternity leave and has scope to go up to 12 months to start ASAP.
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Principal Planning Lawyer as soon as possible due to the current postholder going on maternity leave in 2 weeks. You will be overseeing two lawyers who have varying levels of experience and as such will be conducting 1-2-1 and delegating workloads.
You will be the client lead on behalf of a large local authority and will be the project lead on a number of key development and regeneration projects including transport and infrastructure. You will be working alongside other lawyers with CPO matters and inquiries.
This is a great opportunity for someone with either a private practice or public sector background who has a real passion for this area of work as there is some exciting key projects to get involved with.
