Exciting new opportunity for a Property Lawyer to join a friendly London Borough council on a long-term locum contract to cover maternity leave starting from May/June 2021.
You will be remote working role for the forseeable months and even post-covid you will only need to attend the office on rare occasions. Equally, you can spend more time in the office if this is your preference.
With this locum role starting in May/June, it is an incredibly rare opportunity for those in permanent roles to get into the locum market despite longer contractual notice periods and with the peace of mind of having secured a role before serving your notice. Not to mention this being a guaranteed long-term role, opening up further locum opportunities beyond this!
My client requires someone who can hit the ground running with a busy caseload of commercial and residential property matters. Regeneration experience is desirable, although this can be trained in the role. While previous public sector experience is preferred, my client will consider candidates from private practice and in-house, as long as you can demonstrate the required skills.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, focussed and can handle a caseload with minimal supervision.
We have always had excellent feedback about the team and management from locums who have worked there. This is an unmissable opportunity to take on engaging work and continue your professional development within a welcoming and dynamic team.
On offer is a competitive hourly rate and flexible working patterns. You may work 4 days if this suits your lifestyle.
With this being a long-term locum assignment within a friendly, reputable and well-organised team, you will have the amazing opportunity to really develop professionally and grow within this role.
- Long-term role
- Competitive hourly rate
- Remote working
- Modern IT systems
- Friendly and supportive team that believe in progression
