Locum Property Lawyer

Property lawyer is required to join a large local authority based in East Anglia on a locum basis for a period of 3 months initially and the view of extension thereafter.
The successful property lawyer will be undertaking work in the following areas;
- right to buy matters
- shared equity leases and surrenders
- some residential sales and purchases (including shared ownership properties on council development schemes and small land sales)
- landlord and tenant commercial leases
- Landlord & Tenant Act dealings eg service of S25 notices
- Easements, licences and wayleaves
The position will be three months initially whilst they recruit on a permanent basis. You may be required to travel between sites so those who drive will be able to access the offices with ease.
The council offers flexible working patterns and can accomodate a part time or full time candidate. Working from home arrangements can also be considered. The role is to start as soon as possible so we encourage those who are avaialble on short notice to apply. Private practice and Public sector candidates will be considered for the role.
