Locum Research Contract Manager

South East England

Higher Education Institute

Remote Working

£45-50 per hour

Locum Research Contract Manager is required to join a Higher Education Institute for a period of 3 months initially and the view to further extension.

Our client is ideally seeking someone who can start on a 1-2 weeks notice period and someone with previous experience of working in a higher education setting or similar. You will be picking up an existing caseload of contractual matters which will range and will tend to be the more complex matters to include collaboration agreements.


  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of research agreements, such as; NDAs, funding agreements, collaboration agreements, grant agreements, join-venture agreements, studentships etc
  • Representing clients at meetings both with external funders and collaborators along with their legal representatives
  • Liaising with research and academic staff to establish contracting requirements and finalising matters

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard working individual who is looking to develop their skills within a Higher Education setting.

You do not have to be a qualified solicitor for this position, however you are welcome to apply! Candidates with previous experience working in a University would be advatageous.
