Senior Planning Locum Lawyer is required to join a local authority South of London for a 6 month initial period and the view of extension thereafter.

Our client is looking for a confident and experienced Senior Planning Lawyer who can come in and hit the ground running with an existing caseload. You will be joining a small team of 2 other planning lawyers within the team.

The successful candidate will be undertaking a range of planning law matters such as routine and complex S106 planning agreements, assisting with planning enforcement matters and also supporting the team with some major development and regeneration projects which are currently underway. You will also be asked to attend planning committees remotely.

This council has an excellent reputation in the market and we have placed a number of locums across the years there who provide excellent feedback about the team and the quality of work. The role will be remote in the first instance but may require presence for planning committees should they resume as normal.

We encourage interested applicants seeking part time or full time to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
