Sellick Partnership has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial and growing world class business.

Purpose:

The purpose and main responsibility of the Management Accountant is to support the Finance director and the wider Finance team in all aspects of financial control as defined in the Finance departmental strategy.

The ideal Management Accountant will have:

  • Strong IT skills - able to assist FD in IT/Systems development
  • Good at problem solving
  • Energetic and enthusiastic towards daily workload
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Analytic mind-set
  • Good organisational skills, able to manage a demanding workload, and willing to go the extra mile
  • Continuous improvement mind-set
  • Part qualified looking to become fully qualified or fully Qualified

The Daily duties of the Management Account will consist of but not be limited to:

  • Leading month end closure cycle (financial postings to TB, closure of sales/purchase ledgers and producing management accounts)
  • Month end detailed cost of sales analysis
  • Inter-company accounting
  • Entry of monthly results to group consolidation system
  • Monthly cash flow forecast for submission to group
  • Daily cashbook management & bank reconciliation
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly PAYE submission
  • Monthly pension submission
  • Prepare daily/weekly BACS submission
  • Quarterly VAT return
  • Instrastat reporting
  • Processing petty cash/expenses and company credit cards
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Management of finance apprentice and purchase ledger clerk
