Sellick Partnership has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a fantastic company who are interesting, changing and really focusing on growth.


The purpose and main responsibility of the Management Accountant is to support the Finance manager and the wider Finance team in all aspects of financial control as defined in the Finance departmental strategy.

The ideal Management Accountant will have:

  • Understanding of Excel at a high level
  • Experience in computer-based accounting programmes such as Netsuite or equivalent
  • Studying towards ACCA, CIMA or other equivalent qualification at the same level

The Daily duties of the Management Account will consist of but not be limited to:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Importing sales and payment files into oracle system and reconciling
  • Updating revenue and/with banking sheets
  • Cash collection reconciliation
  • Ordering new stationery from bank i.e. paying in books, banking bags
  • Preparation of monthly concession statements
  • Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Capitalisation of project cost hours as determined by the Project Manager
  • Preparation of profit and loss accounts at the deadline stipulated by the Head of Finance
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations at the deadline stipulated by the Head of Finance
  • Reconciliation of 'by site' profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
  • Reconciliation of printer finance accounts ensuring payments are allocated to the invoices
  • Reconciliation of the undeposited cash and card payments
  • Reconciliation of sales processed
  • Clear down each month of the VAT sales and purchases accounts
  • Stock variance report reconciliation
  • Contact guests for refunds and prepare in readiness for Head of Finance to process
  • Raising of Paypal invoices
  • Processing expense claims onto oracle system
  • Process purchase ledger invoices onto oracle system when required
  • Support to site managers and operations teams within region
  • Support Head of Finance in allocation of Fixed Assets within region
  • VAT preparation for UK, Ireland, Spain and Dubai
  • Preparation of EC sales lists and Intrastat reporting
  • Submission of National Statistics data
  • ADHOC requests from Head of Finance and Group Financial Controller when required
