Sellick Partnership has been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit an interim accountant to assist over the next 5 months to provide key support to the finance team. Due to an internal project, this client requires an interim accountant to assist with the on a business as usual basis, whilst the wider team work in a project to implement a new finance system.

General responsibilities include:-

  • Dealing with the petty cash
  • Completing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Preparing the management accounts and dealing with any associated queries
  • Running and issuing month end reports
  • Working on purchase ledger, cash book and nominal ledger duties

The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA or CIMA), or qualified by experience.

This is a hands on role and would suit an experienced Management Accountant, or Finance Manager. The client is open to full time, or part time options, the majority of the role will be completed onsite, however, there is some possibility of hybrid working to be agreed once settled into the role.

The ideal candidate should be hands on, happy to operate at all levels and will have a sound understanding of excel.

You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to motivate oneself, to deliver a high standard of work to agreed timetables.
