Management Accountant

A role has arisen for one of our well established clients based in Runcorn for an Interim Management Accountant. Initially for 3 months to start asap. The role will be to report into the FC and will be working alongside another Management Accountant.

Key responsibilities;
-Preparation of the monthly management and month-end accounts
-Monthly variance analysis for budgeted and forecasted figures
-Reconciliation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation
-Preparation of year end accounts and year end audit

-Experience of explaining financial results to both finance and non-finance senior management

-Experience of working to UK and IFRS accounting standards

The ideal Management Accountant will be highly numerate, must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail. Preferably will have gained experience working within manufacturing, distribution or an FMCG.
