Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for Management Accountant for a impressive Services Business based in South Manchester. The client we are representing are a progressive business in the midst of a strong growth phase, following recent investment and acquistions they are looking to add to their already establish and stable team.
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
Responsible for assisting in the production of management accounts packs for multiple business entities and reporting to senior stakeholders, this role will primarily involve providing financial support around month end, budgeting and forecasting processes and inter-company transactions. Providing commentary on company performance, you will produce balance sheet reconciliations, overseeing the P&L accounting, supporting in production of the financial statements and year end accounts. You will liaise with key stakeholders across departments alongside external auditors and business partners with regards to any queries. Alongside this, you will be expected to provide input on projects and take an active involvement in any ad-hoc duties where necessary.
Required Skills of the Management Accountant:
The successful applicant will be a driven and ambitious individual ideally studying towards their professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), either Part or Recently Qualified with 3-5years experience. This role requires a strong communicator and good team player with a strong understanding of intercompany transactions and management accounts. You will be able to demonstrate that you have solid report writing skills and exhibit a 'can do' attitude and proactive approach, coupled with a keen eye for detail. Equally, you will need to demonstrate that you have excellent analytical and IT skills, with a particular strength in MS Office Applications.
