Mental Health Support Tutor

Gainsborough

£11.95 PAYE + holiday

37 hours per week

I am recruiting for a renowned housing association in Gainsborough for a Mental Health Support Tutor. Part of their work involves the delivery of youth engagement projects to give young people the opportunity to thrive; and employability and training services to give people of all ages the chance to realise their true potential and find work opportunities in the local area.

Responsibilities of the Mental Health Support Tutor includes:

  • Providing mental health recovery and training support to tenants with an employability focus
  • Assessing and reviewing participant support needs, developing an action plan of personalised support
  • Delivering a variety of accredited and non-accredited courses at their training centre
  • Contributing to curriculum development in your subject area
  • Planning, preparing and evaluating all content you deliver
  • Monitoring, marking and assessing learners work and progress to prepare learners for exams and accreditations

Essential experience for the Mental Health Support Tutor includes:

  • Mental health qualification ( minimum Level 3) or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Experience delivering employability support
