MI Analyst

We have an excellent opportunity for a MI Commercial Analyst to join this market leading and instantly recognisable brand based out of their UK head office in North Manchester. One of the most progressive online companies in the UK and most decisions are based on data made available through its advanced systems.

 

Reporting to the Commercial Project Manager you will provide key business intel and analysis across various data intensive commercial projects. Supporting departmental heads such as Sales, Marketing and HR allowing them to make commercial decisions based on the data. You will be tasked with the timely delivery of an MI suite including regular reporting, data analysis, performance tools. The analyst will assist in the validation and regular extraction, transformation and loading of all incoming data. This is a great role for someone who not only likes using their skill set to solve problems but also likes to implement the solutions and see the impact of the decisions they've made.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the commercial project manager and the business as a whole with the provision of timely and accurate MI reports and data
  • Helping with the streamlining and automation of existing tasks
  • Working in an analytical role, on numerous data intensive commercial projects.
  • Maintaining the integrity and developing the usability of a wide and varied collection of data sources
  • Developing reports to analyse data and suggest areas for improvement

 

The successful MI Analyst will have excellent SQL skills, Highly numerate with excellent MS Excel skills (VBA advantageous). You will be comfortable working with large datasets from various sources. This role would suit a graduate from a numerate subject or someone with several years Analytical experience.
