£25,365 + van and fuel card


My client, a renowned public sector organisation in Gainsborough is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Plumber to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis

Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Plumber include:

  • Completing first and second fix plumbing to kitchen and bathrooms within social housing
  • Carrying out basic tiling duties identified within housing stock
  • Arranging the provision of materials and plant
  • Liaising with tenants and line managers concerning the timing and progress of work being undertaken
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety
  • Carrying out and working to localised risk assessments
  • Works may involve both emergency and scheduled responsive repairs as well as more extensive renovation works to properties

Essential Criteria:

  • NVQ Level 2 in a specific Plumbing related trade or equivalent
  • A full Driving Licence
  • CSCS Card and Driver's license
  • Several years' experience of repairs and maintenance work within both void and tenanted properties
  • Sound understanding of the construction industry in particular the building trade including issues surrounding legislation, Health and Safety, manual handling, working at heights etc.
  • Experience of working within social housing
