Unmissable opportunity for a newly qualified childcare lawyer to join a popular and well-regarded London local authority.

If you're a newly qualified legal professional with experience in childcare law then Sellick Partnership want to hear from you. We're working with a fantastic council to help them find a junior/newly qualified childcare lawyer to join the team on a locum contract.

This is a locum position with the view to extend onto a rolling basis. The role will be remote working.

The newly qualified childcare lawyer will hold a caseload of child protection matters, including:

  • Care cases
  • Pre-proceedings
  • Attending Legal Planning and case management meetings
  • Liaising with counsel and other legal parties
  • Working with and advising social workers

Prior relevant experience in child protection is essential for this role, but any background is welcome, i.e. private practice or public sector.

This is a great chance to join this well regarded team and get your foot in the door of local government. The council offer all the required training and support, and the team are very welcoming and helpful.

If interested get in touch with Brogan Connolly in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
