An fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Childcare solicitor to join a quasi-organisation offering outstanding career progression on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for Newly Qualified solicitors as you will be supported by highly experienced team members and be given the opportunity to develop on your advocacy skills. You will be part of a large, supportive team, with on-going genreous flexible working arrangements (remote initially).

As a Newly Qualified Childcare solicitor, with the support and guidance from very experienced peers you will deal with Public Law Child Proceedings, representing clients in pre-proceeding meetings and cover a range of matters, such as, Deprivation of Liberty, neglect, alcohol and substance misuse.

You will handle sensitive material from bodies such as the police, the NHS, health services, schools, government departments and be proficient in considering voluminous papers and determining the relevance of information from multiple sources.

You will be working with some of the best legal professionals in the industry and be part of a business that instils Work, Life, Balance. The firm has an excellent organisational structure, with one paralegal to every two fee earners, and a legal secretary to every five fee earners.

You must be a Newly Qualified/ soon to be qualified solicitor, preferably from a Local Authority. If from a Private Practice you will have Public Child Law experience and some experience working in a local authority as either a legal assistant or paralegal.
